Sirimongkol Logistics Co., Ltd. has an ideology of conducting business ethically, adhering to social responsibility and all stakeholder groups according to the company’s code of conduct. Regarding the protection of human rights, the company strictly complies with laws and international principles.

Especially supporting and complying with the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and the Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work of the International Labour Organization (ILO), to ensure that the company’s business operations are free from human rights violations. The Board of Directors therefore deemed it appropriate to establish a human rights policy and guidelines to prevent human rights violations in all business activities of the company, including joint ventures.

Definition

Human Rights means the fundamental rights that every human being is guaranteed or protected from discrimination simply because of differences in body, mind, race, nationality, religion, sex, language, age, skin color, education, social status, or any other matter according to the laws of each country and according to the treaties that each country has obligations to comply with.

Guidelines

  • Treating everyone equally according to human rights principles, free from discrimination.
  • Avoiding actions that constitute human rights violations.
  • Supporting and promoting human rights.
  • Communicating, disseminating, educating, creating understanding, establishing guidelines, monitoring, and providing any other support to those involved in business operations, customers, suppliers of goods and services, contractors, as well as joint ventures, to encourage their participation in ethical business operations, respect for human rights, and equal treatment of everyone according to the human rights principles under this policy.
  1. Respect human rights, treat each other with respect, honor one another, and treat everyone equally without discrimination based on physical or mental differences, race, nationality, religion, sex, language, age, skin color, education, social status, or any other matter.
  2. Exercise caution in performing duties to prevent risks of human rights violations in business operations and monitor respect for human rights.
  3. Support and promote actions to protect human rights.
  4. Communicate, disseminate, educate, create understanding, establish guidelines, and provide any other support to those involved in business operations, customers, suppliers, contractors, as well as joint ventures, to encourage their participation in ethical business operations, respect for human rights, and equal treatment of everyone according to the human rights principles under this policy.
  5. Monitor respect for human rights. Do not neglect or ignore when witnessing actions that may violate human rights related to the company. You must report to your supervisor or the responsible person and cooperate in investigating the facts. If there are any doubts or inquiries, consult with a supervisor or the responsible person through the designated channels.
  6. The company will provide fairness and protect individuals who report human rights violations related to the company by utilizing measures to protect complainants or those who cooperate in reporting human rights violations as defined by the company.
  7. The company will continuously develop and implement a human rights Due Diligence Process to identify human rights violation risks, determine the affected groups or individuals, plan and establish guidelines for correcting and preventing human rights violations, manage corrections and prevent human rights violation problems, and monitor the results. This includes providing appropriate impact mitigation processes in cases of human rights violations.
  8. The company is committed to creating and maintaining a corporate culture that adheres to respect for human rights in accordance with this human rights policy.
  9. Those who commit human rights violations are considered to be violating the company’s code of conduct and will be subject to disciplinary action according to the regulations set by the company. In addition, they may face legal penalties if the action is illegal.
